Unheard Wishes

by Alison   Oct 4, 2004

I wish I could have the chance
To do things again.
To be with you more,
To be the best friends
We used to be.
I wish I could relive it all again
And live the laughs
and live the jokes,
To live having you still here,
To be in your presence again.
I wish I did things different
To not be afraid
And to hold on tighter.
To not take for granted
all the little things you did.
I wish I could tell you again
that one day,
It'd be better.
I wish I could tell you
That you showed us all
What it is to be strong.
I wish I could tell you
That you changed my life
I wish I could hug you
I wish I could have saw it happening
I wish you were still here

Poem is an interesting one. but i consider it more of a short story then anything. Perhaps a journal type entery. I am sorry if i am coming off as harsh. I don't know, i just don't get the "Poem" feel from it i guess.

The message was good like most are on this site, the heart was there and the willingness to put yourself out on the line by posting the poem. The messages of the poems you write are well thought out.

I am sorry for the pain you feel that you had to write this. " Perhaps I know why it is man alone who laughs: He alone suffers so deeply that he had to invent laughter." - Friedrich Nietzsche *a thought for you*
