I need to stand!
Stand upon the rock
The rock that’ll not fail
Fail when I need the strength
Strength to carry on the faith lane
Faith lane that does not bring shame

I need to stand!
Stand upon the promises
Promises of constant presence
Presence of his burning holiness
Holiness that I am here to live by
Live by daily and not when convenient.

I need to stand!
Stand upon the grace
Grace of your faithful call
Call that is higher than my woes
Woes that seek to water down my faith
Faith in Jesus, my rock on which I stand.

    What a truly beautiful poem and dedication to your faith Cleopas - i thoroughly enjoyed reading this and even got a lil inspired, gained a lil strength from it - your words were strong and direct, yet the poem ends so subtly...a masterpiece and my fave so so far :o)
