Every Day

In every day that passes by
I feel the need to wonder why,
Why it is I met you this year,
And if your really meant to be here.

The all of a sudden I open my eyes,
And never have to ask that question why.
You make me smile when I’m feeling down
I am yet to see you wearing a frown.

If my life was meant to easy it would come with a book
But it seems so easy with your friendly look
It is a look like that, that makes my day
And lets my troubles fade away.

And if one of us should happen to die,
The other would be left to wonder why.
We’ll be apart until we meet again,
But the friendship will always be the same.

The thing that I am trying to say,
Is that I’m grateful of our friendship everyday.
And as you sit in silence wondering why,
I’ll be there for you til your tears run dry.

If you’re ever upset at what someone has done,
And you need someone to listen I’ll be the one.
Your problems are lighter when carried by two,
And I want you to know I am here for you.
