Not worth the salt in your tears

by Timothy   Oct 4, 2004

How can you cry for someone so selfish,
So inconsiderate of other's feelings;
A person who would be so cruel,
Is not worth the salt in your tears.

When you have so much loneliness,
Within a home that should be warm;
A thoughtless person half a world away,
Is not worth the salt in your tears.

You should be concentrating on your husband,
Your son, and the people who care about you;
Because crying over a PLAY at ending his life,
Is not worth the salt in your tears.

    Very unique piece this one - didn't quite understand the last stanza but the rest of the poem was great! Thanks for sharing!
