Heaven

by David Munoz   Oct 4, 2004

The sky is blue
The sun is bright
You stand alone on a island
Covered in holy light

The grass is all around you
Like a carpet to your feet
Teeming with life and furry things
An infinite number you could meet

The great oaks stand proudly
Full of life and green
Massed together in a majestic forest
Creating a peace that beams

The fields and forests unite
A magnificent sight you behold
All the creatures stand erect and bow
And the waters turn to gold

Angels come down from the clouds above
Your friends are waiting on a golden path
You stare the sun and your eyes don’t burn
The air is filled with your laugh

Your tears begin to flow
You are taken aback by the sight
A golden city now surrounds you
Sparkling with dazzling light

The air is filled with a sweet fragrance
And emotion overcomes you
You now stand in a perfect world
A paradise you were sent to

Your life is bliss
A trio of sevens
And promised to continue being this way
The day you were sent to Heaven
