Unmindful

by Victoria   Oct 4, 2004

Riding life so fast
Forgetting all the past
That’s how you wish to live
You will never know how to share unless you give

You keep taking what isn’t yours
I promise you this is not your cure
So what if you have felt life’s icy clutch
Why does it matter so much

Life treats us unfairly too
It doesn’t all happen to you
We have felt numb inside
So enjoys life’s cruel ride

You need to wake up and see
There is more to life than me me me
You have built so many walls to surround
Its time you knocked them down

You cant stay in this vault eternally
There is so much you could be
So let go of all self pity in your core
Let the darkness blacken you no more
