Dreams of Unfound Love

Whatever happened to the love we had?
How could we let it get so bad?
Everyone said this day would come,
Never believing, now feeling so dumb.

In my dreams a new person is drawn,

Friendly and beautiful like a swan.
Ill love her and give her all of my heart,
Nothing will be able to tear us apart.
Day after day I long for her,

Hoping the next will be for sure.
Each morning we'll wake up and smile together,
Reminding myself this love is forever.
