Teens

Today I sat down and thought,
What is a troubled teen,
I think we are all alike,
Just in a different scene.

There are the girls who get pregnant,
While they're still in school,
They do what guys ask,
Because they think it's cool.

I've seen the stoners,
Who only look to drugs,
Selling everything they own,
Trying to be little thugs.

There are all the smart kids,
Who no longer want the brains,
Because when they go to school,
No one knows their names.

I've seent the girls who starve themselves,
Because they think they're fat,
Who are barely pushing 90,
What is up with that.

Then the kids who cut themselves,
For their own relief,
And there problems will just go away,
That is their one belief.

The kids who turn to suicide,
To leave all their pain,
And really all it is the world,
That we should blame.

The teens who steal and kill,
Just to be cool,
Like breaking the law,
Has an unwritten rule.

The kids who run away,
To leave their problems behind,
When really just more problems,
Is all their gunna find.

There is no such thing,
As just a troubled teen,
Because everyone has problems,
Some just go unseen.

So when you see any of these,
Depression is the fact,
If you aren't normal,
Then depression shouldn't lack.
