Losing you is my greatest fear

by Emily   Oct 5, 2004

We fly through the trees, across the sky
a place i like to go
a place of splender, a place of bliss
where you and i both know

how love like this can burn so bright
with two as young as we
i'll write your name across the land
for all other to see

a smile's already across my face
the warmth -- i cann't fight
you leave me with a glowing feeling
when you leave late in the night

you hold me tight, you kiss me soft
and it makes me sad to know
that after all this love you shed
you have to get up and go.

so i open my eyes, just to see
that you're no longer near
now i sit alone and softly cry
losing you is my greatest fear.
