What is it with the popular girls?
I am oh so confused!
Who are they trying to be?
Do they just want to be used?
Sure, they look real pretty,
and always put on a smile.
But what do they really think,
they just might go out of style.
They hang with their small cliques,
of 3 or 4 girls who are so catty.
They stare at themselves in mirrors.
Wondering if they are getting a little fatty.
Do they have feelings deep within?
Or are they all just so mean?
As you start to feel bad for them,
you realize your only a teen.
Why should I feel bad for them?
When they made me cry so many tears.
Why should I help them out,
when they ignored me all these years.
I have finally realized what is wrong with them,
they have no feelings for one another,
they are so involved with themselves,
They prance around and yell at their mother.
They only wear popular brands,
and hang out with people like them.
if only they could see,
they aren't that special gem.
They are just like everyone else,
no matter what they believe.
they think that the outside only matters,
but it is what you achieve.
So, what it all comes down too,
is that they aren't as rare as pearls,
they are everywhere around you,
I pity the popular girls.
