True Crimes

by dona moo-young   Oct 5, 2004

Time and time again, I cry
Wondering where you are
Lost within my inner child, I try
Wondering where you are

I go to sleep with pain at night
Because you're never there
Hide the truth from the light
Because you were never there

Try to imagine but creativity is weak
With hopes that I will see you
Close my eyes to take a peek
But I will never see you

Envision that you are nearby
Knowing this can never be
Hide away, I will not cry
It was never meant to be

With my every advance, the further more you withdraw
As everyone can witness
Like a criminal in the court of law
There you stand, a witness

My crime no more than that of want
A sin we must commit to
So, more with your love you taunt
My crime is that I love you
