And Then There Was One...

by Carrie   Oct 6, 2004

A desperate fate,
Moments late,
Priceless timing,
And undermining.

Torn at the seems,
Restless dreams,
It all came unglued,
At a table for two.

Years...washed away,
Not much to say,
My entire world,
Came unfurled.

Feeling unsure,
yet, painfully pure,
A quiet plea,
For Sanity.

Looking back,
You have to laugh,
Look what I've done,
...And then there was one...
