You Never Know When You Will Die

by Hannah   Oct 6, 2004

When you're a kid people tell you That you have a while until you die
But truthfully what do they know?
That could just be a big lie

What about that guy who was showing off his new car? He didn't get to far

What about that teen at school Who's body was overtaken with Cancer
Now she can never complete her Dream of being a broadway Dancer

Or what about that guy who just Took one small drink although
It was small his life is now on the Brink

Or what about that baby who's Parents smoke
Now that baby's precious lungs are Being intoxicated with smoke

Or what about that little girl who was Beaten so bad she died
She could've been helped but was To scared so she lied

What about that girl who was Driving home from school
When that other guy went across That yellow line
she went off the road and hit that Pine
Now she will never again see a yellow Line

What about those thugs that Talked that one kid into trying drugs
Now his families life covered with Hugs

What about that little girl who was bound, beaten, and bruised
Now her sweet face is all over Primetime News

What about those kids who went Swimming and dround
Now all of their bodies are being Laid in the ground

What about that smart kid no one At school ever talked to
He was so quite but now know why
When they found him in his room Cold skin black and blue

See you never know when your life Will end
It could end any second any day Any time just remember you can Lose your life on a dime
Be kind to everyone For everyone needs a friend
For who will be by your side when You're nearing the end?
