There's something wrong with me?!

I rejoice in the depression,
That’s seeping into my heart,
I enjoy the regression,
That is tearing me apart,

Your unfaltering oppression,
And insensitive thoughts,
Contributed to my decision,
So that against you I fought,

This small incision,
Made upon my arm,
Sliced with perfect precision,
When I remembered you with alarm.

It was never my intention,
To sink this far below,
Fallen further than redemption,
But I guess it just goes to show.

I am sick of this pretension,
That everything is fine,
But for the duration,
I’ll act like the sun does shine.
