Won't let you see me cry

by Brittany   Oct 7, 2004

I look around the crowded bar,
in hope I'll see your face.
I see you in the corner,
with her in your embrace.

I quickly turn away,
in hope to miss your eyes.
But it is to late,
you know I've seen your lies.

I see you push her off you,
and you start to come my way.
My heart feels like its been torn apart,
I won't take you back today.

I start to walk away,
and you grab me by the arm.
You apologise refusly,
and say you mean no harm.

As I keep walking I start to laugh at you,
I won't listen to you lie.
I'll never let you have the satisfaction,
of letting you make me cry.
