Once we were

We were once best friends
Secrets, hopes and dreams shattered
You were by my side no matter what
Our friendship was all that mattered

You helped me and I helped you
As close as sisters
We shared with one another everything
All our hopes, dreams and wishes

But jealousy tore through out friends
We started to drift apart
I wasn't surprised and did nothing
