My happy place

by Mild insomnia   Oct 8, 2004

I'm swaying in the doorway,
The church bells across the town are calling my name,
But I won't stray.
I will linger here, between life,
And this darkness I am bound to,
I decide.

But here where ice flows from fountains,
All the leaves turn brown and fall,
I'll sit to watch the purple mountains,
And stay, out of the way, away, from it all.

You'd never understand,
How I'm feeling, cos it's not how god has planned,
I've been damned.
Now I'm living in this exile,
I'm still waiting, I've been waiting,
For a while.

In my cursed crystal caverns,
Where all my sins melt into one,
I lay here until something happens,
And I've been laying here for so long.
