Dead at Dawn

by kc   Oct 8, 2004

Tears of Pain,
Falling from the sky.
Tears turn into rain,
Blood which drips into it's eyes.
Stars in the night,
A defenseless soul.
Too hurt to fight,
Everyone's gone, it's cold.
No friends near,
One song stuck in the head.
Here comes all the fear,
Soon it will be dead.
There comes the white,
It struggles to survive.
It's already lost sight,
Beside it lies the knife.
Then it remembers,
All the good times.
Some in December,
Before it's crime.
The last stab hurt,
There's more blood dripping.
Right into the dirt,
It's hands still gripping.
Out then in again,
Black is getting close.
It's up to number ten,
They think it overdosed.
What lies it lived in,
But it's all gone.
It's done it's last sin,
It's dead at dawn.
