Missing You

I can't stop this flow of tears
they're falling down like rain
Ever since you left my side
They represent my inner pain

We were living our lives together
Both day and night side by side
Now we're alone again and brokenhearted
For in two countries, we reside

Immigration, they do their jobs
But I fear that they don't understand
How it's tearing us apart inside
That we can't reach out to the others hand

Now it will be two months at best
Until I'm held in your arms so tight
This time I'll traverse the Atlantic
I'll put aside my fears of flight...

Because there's nothing more important
Than being able to reach out and touch
The only one that I could ever love
The one I'm missing now so much...

We'll pass this and every test, my love
Finally you'll hold that visa in your hand
With it you'll at last come home to us
And things will end up as God has planned

wrote this a few days ago as you know babe...only acouple of days after you left. It's heartwrenching being apart, my only consolation is that you're feeling it too. I can't wait to be your wife..HURRY VISA!!!! xxx

    Even though you started the poem in a little upset mood; I liked the way it ended positivly.. Word to word i can relate.. Ahhh!

    Wipe your tears.. bring a smile.. Because even though he is not near by.. he can feel you.. And he won't like to see tears in your eyes!!! :)

    Neither do any of us... Your smile is so pretty.. Your poems are so bright... and emotional... I can't stop admiring you guys.. YOu both are so sweet!
