Profit

by Robert   Oct 9, 2004

For I have seen what is to be,
and I shun to see the beast set free.
For the carnage that comes from his rage,
must set our land on a bloody stage.
What right do I stand between what is just,
for I know his freedom is a must.
Like yen and yang they can not be apart,
unfortunately I knew this from the start.
Two boys born of the same great man,
yet I know, they will never see the plan.
One of pride to shoulder all the blame,
the others rage to set his land aflame.
Both of equal conviction want what is right,
will they both destroy each other in a fight?
What common emotion will lead us to an end,
will they see each other as a friend.
For I have seen all but the end,
for that you must read on my friend.
