Extremity

by Aishite Imasu   Oct 9, 2004

I always thought love was just chocolates and flowers.
I always thought love was just to hold you in my arms for hours.
I never knew if my heart was true.
I never knew till I met you.
At the very glimpse of your face.
I was lifted into a higher place.
My life was set into high gear.
The thought of losing you, all i had to fear.
I felt like a child on the first day he learned to tie his shoe.
I felt wonderful because I was with you.
A phrase that was said.
A phrase I'll never forget.
All I could do that night was toss and turn in my bed.
All it did was torment.
Awoke the next day a dream all it had seemed.
Not so, I was damned with pain.
A change is what she deemed.
My mind frozen in that still frame.
Not to Fast Forward or Rewind
Isn't this world so kind.
If all this world is is love and hate.
Then living here is something I'm gunna have to debate.
