Violet

by Shannon   Oct 9, 2004

Grandma, I never knew you
But you have left me with so much
You swim throughout
My skin, and my body
Your voice echoes
Through the words I speak
And every tear I shed
Is a shadow from your pain
And my sadness
Is the one thing we share
You are so special to me
Wherever you may be
As you lie in the earth
Or if you swirl in your ashes
I am always near
I just wish you hadnt jumped
You would never know
How much I need you
And you would never know
That my existence is here
Wishing you were with me
