Growing Up

by Jo   Oct 9, 2004

Coming home again
Every fear alive
One beating or ten
Whatever, I'll survive

My brother touching
Knowing he shouldn't
Imagine such thing
Imagine, I couldn't

But this is all real
And this isn't all
So much I can't feel
Determined to fall

Shouting and screaming
Walking through the door
Mother still schemeing
Cursing, I hear more

Father ignoring
Me yet again
Still not signalling
And what happens then

Don't do what do I did
And lead this hated life
The scars I have hid
From trying to survive
