Got some bad news?
Gimmie something I can use,
I'm in need of a muse,
And it could well be you.

I'm not the perfect poet,
I'm not and you know it,
But please don't let me blow it,
I'm slipping just a bit.

Any good news?
That'll do,
It doesn't have to be true,
I just need a muse.
