Life as we know it

by Ashmore   Oct 10, 2004

And the moon howls
As the wolves are silent
And we endure the deafening silence
As we lay in our beds

As the wind breathes
The trees whistle
Our minds do the wandering
We fall to sleep

We chase a light
Darkness overwhelms
We lost our breath
Yet something is pushing us on

As we sleep
Our memories consume
We chase a light
To take us from this desolate world
