Only One Too Blame

by Robert   Oct 11, 2004

You took my family and left me without a friend,
you told me our love was forever then you told me it had to end.
You said that I was the only one for you,
then you said I wasn’t being true.
You made a fuss to find a way out,
but today it is you who will hear me shout.
The woman by your side is now your wife,
but tell me what am I to do with my life.
You left me with your son and all these bills,
while you went and chased a your thrills.
You laughed as I sunk into hell and no place to hide,
and left it to your lawyer tell me that faith should be your guide.
Faith, gave me little comfort when I had to deal with this mess,
but I did it with one conviction I must confess.
I paid all I had to pay did all I had to do,
my only conviction was to get back at you.
Now I see you sit with a grin and said you knew I was strong,
but never tell me the truth you were wrong.
You smile and want me to go my way,
but through it all It was you not me who went gray.
Look at me, now my old husband and long lost friend,
for here are your papers of what you owe me and today it will end.
If you don’t paid like they have said.
know it is you not I that will be dead.
So read it all over and no more playing your game,
for it was by your actions, your lust and your shame.
You are the only one to blame!!!
