Lost Inside

Lost inside it all,
Only darkness exists.
I feel it flowing,
Streaming down my wrists.

At night I can't sleep,
I lay in bed and shake.
I toss and turn, over and over,
Thinking I can get through this, not knowing what it'll take.

Past the fake smile,
There's nothing but tears.
I hold them all inside,
Locking away my fears.

It's all different now,
My whole life has fallen apart.
Everyday it hurts,
Deep within my heart.

My thoughts are twisted,
I can never think straight.
I can't remember the last thing I did right,
Besides planning my fate.

I don't know when I last felt loved,
Or that someone really cared.
I keep so much to myself
Things I'm afraid to share.
