If You Call That Love

by dandy   Oct 11, 2004

Two people are married,
then the husband hits the wife.
Let the ranting start,
so begins another strife.

She dates him for his money,
she only wants his fame.
She's getting jewelry and possessions,
yet she feels no shame.

A teen guy forces a girl,
to do something she doesn't want.
A few weeks later she's with child,
though he takes it nonchalant.

A son is mad at his father,
but the son acts as if he's OK.
But the next day he pulls a gun,
and his father is blown away.

A man and a women want some fun,
so they do things that night.
The next month, she gets an abortion,
and goes on as if it's alright.

Some people think these acts are OK.
How can you call that love?
Are you so immature to sink to that level,
and forget the maker above?

People don't stop and think that they could
escape from society's prison.
But if you call all those things love,
then I don't know what isn't.

So many acts of evil are committed every single day, and so many think it's alright. People get confused between lust and love, and it gets them somewhere they shouldn't be. If all those things listed above are acts of love, I'm not sure I know what kind of things aren't.
