The United States

by Timothy   Oct 11, 2004

The United States is my homeland,
Where a boy can be a fine man;
Where a lady can be developed from a girl,
It is a place you can make a fortune in a whirl.

The United States is the greatest nation on Earth,
It is where the epitome of being equal was given birth;
The morality of its denizens ranks world-high,
Opportunities are unlimited by the sky.

The United States lends the world a helping hand,
It is a pillar of strength, helping all the countries stand;
Magnificent, honorable, a golden knight,
A guardian with omnipotent sight.
