Suicide of Innocence

by Nicole   Oct 12, 2004

Raindrops rolling down her window
thunder in the slate gray sky
she bites down harder on her lip
as a painful tear falls from her eye
she feels as if shes dying
in reality
she's merely crying
trying not to let go inside
his love is her suicide

She is so young but her innocence
was quickly claimed
every time he said her name
Lost and confused, she doesn't know if this love is true
Days are long, made of grey and blue
And what she cant hold in comes out in tears
her pain, her worries...
dead hopes and fears

so deeper and deeper
the pain goes through her
happiness was foreign
it barely knew her
They ask her all the time
day by day but the answers the same
"Leave me alone, I'm not okay.."

Raindrops rolling down her window
thunder in the slate gray sky
the razor drops and
she draws her final breath
she always knew
love would be her death...
