Perfection

by .x.PorteR.x.   Oct 12, 2004

My eyes are hungry for your gaze
Yet I still watch from afar
You don’t know who the heck I am
But I know who YOU are

I see you as perfection
In the purest, simplest form
Yet you never turn your eyes my way
And for that, my love, I mourn

Sometimes I wish I wasn’t here
That I’d never learnt your name
I wish I’d died a year ago
Before I ever came

This pain inside, it runs too deep
For you to ever comprehend
This hurt you have unknowingly caused
Will never, ever mend
