I’m running toward the darkness, Away from all I see in the light, Because tonight I saw the ending, The ending of a life. A life so young, so unafraid, A life so innocent, It’s all so pointless, all so cruel. I saw a pointless ending. I don’t see the need for this, You should live a long and hopeful life, I don’t see the point in this, This is all so unnecessary. With the darkness closing in, And the light fading away, You should claw at the last of your life, And see the point in what I have to say. Life your life to the full, Don’t listen to their bull, Be your self, Not a clone. I watched as a child was crushed, Her head messed up, I don’t see the point in this, Why can’t death give it a miss? Yet I don’t just blame death, It is his job, I blame the men of this place, For that lumpy waste. They took all she had, Told her many lies, Beat the spirit out of her, Till every thing was a ...... ...blur!
