Best Friends

I know we haven't been real close,
throughout the past few years.
But when I think of times we've shared,
I always end up in tears.

I can't believe I lost my love,
and my best friend too.
It all just happened way too fast,
I didn't know what to do.

My life feels like it's over,
and there's nothing up ahead.
But we'll always have our memories,
and we'll always be best friends.
