A Call To The Men

by August   Oct 12, 2004

Everlasting time eating up a meal
Decorated brain-men, fated to die
Men who talk with money have forgot to feel
Straight arrows that chew up their lies
Please, mulched men
Begin again

And to those who are finishing:
Release your distrought pasts!
And to those still wishing:
Those instants of beauty are gone twice as fast
Forgetting to walk
Created to mock

Try to remember what you forgot
The clock is waiting with a knife
And it will rob you of what you sought
I am not hungry, we eat our strife
The seconds are gone
Though it won't be long
Till the minute hand takes all the life

Backward and forward
Straight to the end

Bold fecking effort mate....i've been looking for a poet like yourself in here for some time.

I read your comment on one of "friends" poems where someone had called their work a masterpiece....i get so sick of all the fake back slapping that goes on when someone pukes out a carbon copy of every love poem ever made and all most folks in here can say is

    "Nice poem, keep it up"

Aw man, i'll,be keeping an eye on you. Don't ever gve up being honest on the boards and in the comments section....it's so refreshing.

    Kevin.
