The Emotional Cascade

The emotional cascade is a paradoxical waterfall, flowing over my head and my face,
I feel it inside as well, pumping through my heart, coursing through my veins;
I love so much, my feelings are scaring me,
I love so much it HURTS...this amorous strain.

But I would not given up this treasure for the world,
I have been in love before, but never like this;
Her face is locked in my mind; a vision of loveliness in my heart,
I dream daily of her embrace, her magical kiss.

Seeing her beauty so infrequently is eating me up inside,
Letting her get so close, it sometimes terrifies me;
But I wouldn't trade it for gold,
Because her love is what truly sets me free.
