High school

by Marcie   Oct 13, 2004

I started a new chapter
in this book that is my life
things have started to change a lot
High School will do that.

Every morning I get up
and put on a face
One that I can use
to get through the day.

So off to school I go
and the day begins
with plenty of rumors, and hurt
and homework unfinished.

First period goes to slow,
Second I don't want to let go,
then Lunch with the unpopular crowd
Third period, Oh how I despise thee.

But finally here comes fourth,
I goes to slow with every word
I need out of this place for the day
the bell rings, the halls buzz, oh I forgot the clubs!

So off to extracurriculars,
how high school is so complicated
and I wait and wait till 4:30....
yes on my way home.

So I go home
and I wait
I do some homework
and I wait

and I get up again at 7:30 AM,
wait outside for the carpool
8:20 passes, where are they?
9:30 now....

Oh man, Its the weekend!
