Ending war

by Sinister Soire   Oct 13, 2004

A baby shrieks while its mother soars
A rodent gathers and hides its hoards
While down below a battle roars
And far away they’re using swords

A wave breaks and rocks the shores
A beaver stalls while making boards
While wars a far claim many scores
And the final winners are made lords

A human child won’t join the corps
He says they offer no rewards
The battles fought should now be lore
They think he finally struck the chords
