Overpower

by Sinister Soire   Oct 13, 2004

A bird takes flight and hits the sky
It spirals upwards way up high
The graceful wings flap to a tune
It comes back down to hide the moon

An ant is peaceful digging low
Its only fear is the large crow
The powered claws clamp on hard
Its primitive instincts are unmarred

A human child is on the land
He holds the soil in his hand
The race of man has over run
It’s overpowered the once great sun
