Chain reaction.

by Marisa Lishay   Oct 13, 2004

She was a quiet person, someone
people never took notice to,
never spoken for, never stood at eye level.

braces removed-
things change. words appear,
hatred surfaces. false love creates,
pain lingers in the shadows.

first party- drinks........ pressure....
longing to be accepted.
pregnancy, loneliness, hatred rises...
love falls....

alone..............

time to think.........

the only mistake never made twice,
is the mistake of false love.
false love can always lead to
happenings unreal, unwanted.

birth, pain so painful, so deep.
so indescribable, only a mother can understand.
her insides screaming to be put back
in their original shape.
the child, who will have a world of
emptiness,
is screaming to be left alone.
let him be warm.
its like a chain reaction.
think dominoes.
