Death is My Path

by Unseen Exposure   Oct 13, 2004

Don't you worry
I'll be gone tomorrow
So hold your tears
And brace your sorrow

Don't you cry
Not for the sake of me
Not for who I am
Or who I couldn't be

I'll be an angel
Spread my wings and fly
Never shed a tear
Forget how to cry

I'll lift up my arms
Pray up above
I won't go unseen
I'll be deservant of love

I'll sing heavenly praises
As watchful eyes gaze
My beauty will leave them
Totally dazed

An angel I'll be
I'll finally be saved
Now hold on tight
I have to be brave

There lays my knife
My betraying friend
The one that will see me
Through to the end

My savior, I call it
It saves me from life
Embraces me in death
My savior- My knife

Heaven is calling me
Or maybe it's hell
It sounds so familiar
The sounds I know well

Tonight is the night
Angel's wings on my back
Tonight I will fly
For death is my path
