What's on the inside

by yup   Oct 14, 2004

She's got the looks and the clothes
But what's on the inside no one knows

She's got the figure and the wit
But thats just another reason for her to slit

No one sees beneathe her beauty
Behind her mask
They only see what she pretends to be
No one even thinks to ask

She lies on the ground
Crimson pouring from her wrists
No body notices
Its as if she doesn't exist

She cries out in pain
But she's all alone
Maybe she could be saved
If someone had known

What's on the inside, thats what counts
Don't be fooled by the mask
Look beneath to the real person
And don't be afraid to ask

dude. this is what i mean. no matter how weird and hyper or popular looking someone is, they can still be affected by depression. you are so dead on. you're so dead on it's beyond scary.

let's use the word poignant here. okay, what a poignant poem.
