I Am Not The Victim Here

by Robert   Oct 14, 2004

How could I see what was to lie ahead,
having my heart kicked and tossed away like the dead.
How could I be so simple and vane,
is that all you wanted is to cause me pain?
You told me to trust you from the start,
now you have no clue how you have torn me apart.
I listened to your lies and taken by your words,
now it is me that looks absurd.
You said everything would be all right in the end,
then you bolted out my door telling me I want to be only a friend.
How could you turn so cold so fast,
was it a lie saying our love would last?
You make me ill thinking you were once my lover,
now that the wounds you have inflicted on me have no cover.
You have stripped me of all that I was to be,
then set your self up on a path to be free.
How am I to love again the same,
when it is I that feels the shame.
You have taken my love, my heart and buried it dead,
now all I wish to see on a stake is your head.
I have been a victim of your games too damn long,
now it is I who will show you who is strong.
Laugh, so you think you’re the best,
but hated lover know I have a bigger test.
Tell the new love of your life your lies,
for I will be the interment of your demise.
Will it be a shot in the dark or a club over the head,
either way I have it the ending will be you are dead.
Oh my sweet a lime deposit you will be fit for,
because I will go on but you will be no more.
I am justified in doing this,
for no other you shall cast in that hellish abyss.
I will say no more for I hold this for you,
a man with 10,000 dollars in his pocket knows what to do.
