The Missing Mom

by Czekalski   Oct 14, 2004

Doesn't she see,
that home is where she should be.
home with her kids,
detecting their fibs?

Instead she's out with him,
where the lights are dim.
drinking a beer,
as her daughter cries a tear.

Wishing she was here,
sitting in fear,
of loosing her mom,
because of the love bomb.

Not getting any kisses,
from the mom she really misses.
Wanting to hear her voice,
but she doesn't have a choice.

Her head really whirls,
while she watches "the girls"
getting them to sleep,
without a peep.

I wish you were here,
so I didn't have to cry another tear.
or sit here in fear,
while you drink another beer.

I want you here,
to dry my tear.
instead of out with him,
where the light is dim.

I love you mom,
but the love bomb,
has taken you away from me,
where I want you to be.
