I don't know why I hide this from you,
I hide that I'm gay,
I'm not ashamed of what I am,
I will show people every day.

Your the only one that doesn't know,
I just can't bring myself to tell you,
am I scared of what you will think,
please someone tell me what to do.

Why is this so hard,
why can't I just tell you the truth,
is there something wrong with me,
do I have some kind of fluke.

By not telling you I'm not being true to myself,
but I don't want to lose you as a friend,
