Raindrops

by Mild insomnia   Oct 14, 2004

Head upon my hands,
You've never seen me cry,
Until now that is,
And to stop, I can't even try.

And it's over nothing,
I can't believe that I'm in tears.

Like raindrops falling,
Hitting the panes and slipping,
Right back to the ground,
They tumble down,
Like me right now.

Been built up so high,
From the fall, I'd surely die,
Here I stand upon the brink,
And I'm not even asking why.

It's just the small things,
That I've been dealing with for years.
