Invisible freak

by ~*^*~ longing to belong ~*^*~   Oct 14, 2004

I’m shouting out,
I’m screaming loud,
But every word,
Goes by unheard,

I’m walking in the street,
I trip over my feet,
I slip and I fall,
Out for help I call,

My teeming mind,
Has been left behind,
In all the confusion,
And various intrusions,

My twisted heart is lying here,
Out on the path for all to see,
But over it they do tread,
And look the other way instead,

I can feel the calling of death,
I know this will be my last breath,
I wish they would see me now,
That I have taken my last bow,

I shouted out,
I screamed loud,
But every word,
Went by unheard.
