You don't understand

Why is it so weird,
when I look into your eyes?
Is It maybe... you've been wearing
a disquise?
Why is it so different,
when I talk to you?
I just want everything to be,
how it was...

It's not this complicated
you make it so hard.
We were together
but then you pulled us apart.

I stare down at the ground,
I kick the rocks under my feet.
You try to talk to me
but I can't look up, I keep walking...
and you just follow- you keep talking.

You don't understand
you don't know whats wrong.
You don't think I could love you,
because It's been so long.

You touch my arm to say good-bye.
I look at you, I want to cry,
but I don't let a single tear go down
my eyes. I just try and smile...
and walk away!
