Paint Me a Pearly White

by Broken   Oct 15, 2004

Black rain falls upon me
Bloody tears spill down my face
All alone in this cold world
Hiding to avoid the disgrace

My dying soul pleads
To be painted a pearly white
To be sent far above
Where it doesn't have to fight

Away from the mindless drones
Sucked into the darkness of my room
With the flickering of candle light
I stare into the face of my doom

Every minute falling deeper
Into my own little lie
Screaming harder, still unheard
So sit back and watch me die
