The Truth

**Please bare with me this is my first poem...**

When she told me,
I thought it was a joke.
I laughed, but as we sat in the dark
I realized it was far from being that.
Never had i heard her say anything like what she did tonight.
I thought we were all happy,
that everything was alright.
But soon i realized that it might
have all been a mistake.
When i heard her say,
"I don't know if Ive ever really loved your daddy!?!"
Now i don't know if shes gonna stay.
Mommy please don't go...
