In the beginning we were far apart,
but in time we've become really close,
out of everything I miss,

When you came over with bruises,
it tore me up inside,
then you'd go home to him,
and all I could do was cry.
You are my closest sister,
I cry myself to sleep,
knowing in a few days you'll be gone,
our friendship, I hope we'll keep.
I guess what I'm trying to say,
is I really love and already miss you,
I hope to see you again soon,
without you I don't know what I'm going to do.
*This poem means a lot to me. It's dedicated to my sister Autumn. She was in a very abusive relationship but no matter how bad it got she stayed with him.
